Christmas 2017 Deliveries - Please note last order date for pre-Christmas delivery is Mid-night Sunday 19th December. Orders placed after this will be delivered in the new year. This is so the trees don't sit in a dark box in a warehouse somewhere untouchable for days without water and to ensure they arrive with you in perfect condition. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. If you close enough, you can still phone and arrange to collect trees on the working days. And a small but vital note- if you are purchasing a tree as a present, please, please, please unpack it on arrival, put it somewhere warm and light and keep it watered (but DO NOT leave it stood in a bucket of water) until the day before you give it. Ideally the trees should not be in a box for more than 3 days.

March 2016: G'day. Just a quick note to say all of our Eucalyptus species are currently in propagation, either rooting of cuttings or germinating seedlings. We had a phenomenal autumn and many of our first batch 3 litre trees sold out, BUT we have a second batch which are nearly ready. These should have rooted through and started growing by mid-end of March - weather permitting. So if there is a species you are looking for - do give us a call or drop us an email and we will let you know as soon as they are ready for dispatch.
many thanks, Hilary and Steve Collins.
If there is anything you are looking for - do give me a call and I can update you on availability.

April 2015: Hi - Welcome to our Eucalyptus website. After another relatively mild winter, we have made great strides in the nursery. Another bespoke Eucalyptus growing house has gone up and we are preparing to put up a third one this summer. We have finally gone entirely PEAT-FREE with our compost for trees produced in 2015 and the Eucs seem to like the new diet! After an incredible start to the season, overwintered stock is beginning to run low in 3 litre pots, but we have a great range of 5, 9 and 12.5 litre trees coming ready soon and ofcourse our vigorous 1 litre young plants will be ready in June.

Shows 2015: Come and say hello to our team on our exhibit in the Floral Marquees at Malvern Spring Festival, Gardeners World Live at the NEC and Hampton Court Palace Flower Show - it will be great to meet you.

January 2014: Just in the process of sowing the next batch of seeds. We've got several new hardy species for this year and a few non-hardy conservatory species for fun. I'll be listing them shortly so you can preview their details and they will be ready for planting in May.

We are also exhibiting at four RHS shows in 2014. Malvern Spring Garden Show, Gardeners World Live at the NEC, Hampton Court Palace Flower Show and the Malvern Autumn Show - so pop along and see us in the Floral Marquee.

Even More Great News - we have just been to the Hampton Court Flower Show (July 2013) where our Eucalyptus display 'Swagman' was awarded an RHS Gold medal, a result we are exceptionally pleased with as this was our first ever visit to this highly prestigious show. The only minor down side was that it was so incredibly hot for the week it felt as if we were actually in Australia and quite a large number of visitors and staff were overcome by the heat!

Great News - we have been lucky enough to be awarded an RHS Gold Medal for our Exhibit of Eucalyptus at the Malvern Spring Garden Show 2013, with 'Swagman' a stand based on 'Waltzing Matilda'.

Last year (2012) we took our Euc's to The NEC Gardener's World Live show and the Malvern Autumn Show for the first time and were very pleased to be awarded RHS Gold Medals at both.

HARDY EUCALYPTUS - Fast growing, hardy evergreen trees for hedges, screens, stand-alone specimens, cut foliage for flower arranging and wood production for firewood, biomass or wood pulp (paper production). All grown by us, at our nursery in the UK with seed sourced from the cold and high altitude areas of Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand - the provenance of seed is known to have a very significant effect on the hardiness of Eucalypts!

May 2013 - It's the Malvern Spring gardening show from 9 May to 12 May and we are taking our Eucalypts again - it's going to be tough, our specimen trees haven't put on enough new growth to be looking as good as we would like yet and our 1 litre young plants haven't been growing in this cold weather to be any where near ready for sale! As we will be on very short staff at the nursery and all the good stock will be at the show, we have removed all the stock from the online store until after 15 May, when we will do a fresh stock check and review the status of the 1 litre starters. Sorry if this causes you a problem, please email us at office@grafton-nursery.co.uk if you would like to discuss current availability, thanks, Steve

April 2013 - Update - This years seedlings are now growing strongly, although, because of the poor weather so far this year, we are now running a few weeks behind so we probably will not be releasing the 1 litre air pots until June and stock for the Malvern Spring Show is going to be a lot smaller than we would really like! On the positive side, we are hoping to be able to add 14 new species of Eucalypts to our range, giving us a total range of 50. We will be publishing full details here, on our website, as soon as we are happy with the progress of the young plants.

January 2013 - stock at this time of year is very low, please email us with your requirements to check our current availability.

We have now moved all of our Eucalyptus production into Air-pots, these have proven to give stronger plants with much faster and easier establishment in the garden. Our 1 litre air-pot range is grown specifically for early mail-order sales, these start shipping late May-June when they will be between 3 and 12 inches tall, ideally they should be planted into their final growing position when they are between 9 and 12 inches tall (which will be within a few weeks of you receiving them) . We have a few of our 3 litre plants left which are now around 80cm to 100cm tall but for winter planting we strongly recommend our larger 9 litre and 20 litre air pots which are now well established and have grown well this year - these are wonderful plants if you want instant specimens- we now have a haulier who will deliver these for us, cost depends on exact size so please email us for prices and availability, or we can arrange for collection from our nursery by appointment.
